Terms of Service — OKMELA Nepal

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using okmela.com ("OKMELA", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Who Can Use OKMELA

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or place an order. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. For Buyers

  • Provide accurate delivery and contact information for every order.
  • Payment is due at checkout via eSewa, Khalti, or Cash on Delivery, as offered for that order.
  • Contact our support team within 7 days of delivery to report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item — see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • Reviews and ratings must reflect a genuine experience with the product or seller.

4. For Sellers

  • List only genuine, legal products with accurate descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
  • Ship orders within the timeframe stated at listing, and keep buyers informed of delays.
  • Respond to buyer messages and support escalations promptly.
  • Maintain the seller performance standards described in your seller dashboard; OKMELA may suspend or remove listings that fall below them.
  • Pay the commission rate shown for your account on each completed sale — see Seller Commission.

5. Payments

Digital payments are processed through eSewa and Khalti and are subject to those providers' own terms. OKMELA does not store your full payment card or wallet credentials.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use OKMELA to list counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods; manipulate reviews or ratings; scrape or resell platform data; or attempt to bypass platform fees by transacting outside OKMELA for a listing found here.

7. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or repeatedly fail to meet buyer- or seller-facing obligations.

8. Limitation of Liability

OKMELA is a marketplace connecting independent buyers and sellers. While we provide buyer protection on qualifying orders, product quality and fulfillment are the responsibility of the individual seller.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of OKMELA after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
